Although born into royalty, Prince Eugen chose a life dedicated to art, becoming one of Sweden's most prominent landscape painters.

Known as "The Painter Prince," his artistic work is characterized by a lyrical interpretation of the Swedish landscape, capturing the subtle changes of light and atmosphere. His home, Waldemarsudde, located on Djurgården island in Stockholm, has been converted into one of Sweden's most popular art museums, housing many of his works and collections.
