Gustaw Gwozdecki (1880-1935) was a Polish painter, sculptor, and printmaker associated with Post-Impressionist Kapists. He received his artistic education in Munich, Kraków, and Paris, where he exhibited at the prestigious Salon d'Automne.
Gwozdecki actively promoted Polish fine arts in both the United States and France. His artistic style evolved from early modernism to Fauvism, gaining acclaim and support from influential French critics, including Guillaume Apollinaire.
