Culmin's Ghost Appears to His Mother is an oil painting by Danish artist Nicolai Abildgaard, created in 1794. It depicts a scene from the Ossianic cycle, a collection of epic poems presented by James Macpherson as translations of ancient Scottish tales, though they were later largely discredited as fabrications.
